My interest in hypnotherapy came about five years after my first experience with therapeutic hypnosis. As a graduation gift from collage I went to a health spa where I had a private hypnosis session for weight loss. The session was so mellow and down to earth I left feeling normal and honestly didn’t think twice about it. I left the spa and began reading a nutrition book which helped me redesign my diet. I easily lost the excess weight and felt great.

The first lesson of hypnotherapy is fascinating: because hypnosis acts on your subconscious, hypnotherapy can create profound behavioral changes without the client realizing that the hypnotherapy caused the changes.

In my case, it took me five years to connect the last time I felt truly thin to the hypnotherapy I’d received in Houston.

This strange fact – that hypnotherapy works without conscious acknowledgment – is one of the best things about hypnosis: it is natural and subtle and therefore nearly effortless. Once you understand that your mind controls your body then it is easy to begin the work of creating the change you seek.

I felt a powerful attraction to the mind-body technique that I’d re-discovered, and I immediately began taking classes and reading extensively into the literature. My learnings lead me to realize that there are many ways to heal the body, and I began to take control of my own mental and physical health. Over the past ten years I gradually transitioned away from my old unhealthy habits to a much improved state of true health.

In addition to Hypnotherapy I have taken courses on Homeopathy, Reiki, Neuro-Semantics, and have read extensively on the topic of nutrition. I use Nutrition, Acupuncture, Colon Hydrotherapy, Chiropractics, Massage and of course Hypnotherapy to get and stay well. I know my body and mind better than anyone else, and I am the primary creator of my own wellness. If you are ready to take control of your health and are looking for a guide to set you along the right path please send me an email so we can begin.
